DOLPHIN MONEY BANK FINISHED

So i finally got 'another' project finished on time actually the day before my deadline at that my youngest daughters 16th birthday which was this Sunday gone. I got the project finished on the Saturday evening before lol.

I was going to just do another series of static pictures to show you the finished project but thought you might better understand the design by seeing it in a live action video short lol. So without any further rambling delay from me here is the finished project video short:

A link to the YouTube version (some sound & music running) can NOW be seen on YouTube. The link is at the bottom of this page in the er!, list of links lol.

  1. Jonty,

Other than you Brits having some funny looking paper money, that bank is terrific! The black color (or is that colour?) gives it a dramatic finish. Looks great! I'm sure your daughter will get a kick out of it -- and hopefully a lot of use.

    Cheers,
    Rich

  4. adelesspookyart: Why thankyou. I did rush the base somewhat, the actual flat base section. It warped slightly. I wantd to make sure i was finished this in time for my daughters birthday lol. Had this been for a paying commision i would have given it more time. But she likes it lol.

  6. I promise you it IS 100% paper mache & IS almost glass smooth too. Follow the feature 'back' through the posts to see the complete build.

I use paper, card, foil for shaping/copying & pencils or wooden (2mm) skewers for supports ONLY. No metal or plastics go into my work.
