This will be a modyfied but 'advanced version' of my sons half mask. Lol don't worry when i say advanced i mean it looks technichal & difficult but it WILL be very very simple to do i promise you lol. I was thinking to keep it really simple i would show you how to make a half skull mask & maybe a geeky face for those who don't want to do a skull. If i have time to do both the method of construction IS very similar. Just different facial parts. Trust me you will be making masks in no time lol.

Now I'm very curious to watch the video of this clam shell.. It looks very interesting - but also very complicated; for people like me; who gets in troubles when trying to build 3d from a trace
ReplyDeleteiris: Lol hi there, lol trust me thats the point to make great complicated looking art to make your admirers go "WOW how did you do that?" But it WILL be very very simple to do i assure you.
ReplyDeleteThe folds in each section are very small & easy. Then each section simply tapes together 'as is'. A quick layer to add a finishing textured finish & strength then painting.
I promise you, you WILL be able to make amazing clam shells (all be they much bigger than mine) the same day you watch how i do it fully lol.
Put it this way if you aren't making clam shells by the time you have seen my complete simple method i WILL stop doing art lol.
